  • To promote and display the main reference projects aimed at large-scale implementation of Renewable Energy sources on European islands;

  • To analyse the European “state-of-the-art” RET and conditions of application to islands;

  • To promote new energy technologies within specific market segments
    adapted to islands’ reality and specific needs;

  • To promote business opportunities for clean energies on European islands;

  • To exchange experiences and perspectives for the public and private sector;

  • To identify innovative instruments for the financing of RES projects on islands.

  • To promote the 100% renewable objective in favourable island areas.

  • To disseminate 100% RES integrated technological systems.

  • To promote inter-island and international co-operation in favour of developing renewable energies on islands.

  • To promote new initiatives and market alliances with the tourist sector in island destinations.

  • To identify new market and development opportunities for renewables
    related with water production and conservation (water cycle) on islands.
