The Hiiumaa Information Society Strategy
The Hiiumaa Information Society Strategy was completed in the course of the EU project “Medis (the 5th framework programme, IST – 1999 – 20896, Models for European Digital Islands, PU)”, during which Hiiumaa as a partner tested whether the Planning Manual worked out by the project was in accordance with the needs of an island and/or a peripheral community. The pilot project for Hiiumaa lasted from March to June, 2002.
