European Island Agenda
In Minorca, more than one hundred and fifty European islands have had the opportunity of discussing their future and, for the first time, of reaching agreement on a specific framework for the island factor. A broad field of consensus that will enable islands to enhance our skills and to seek shared solutions to our common problems. The Conference has produced three major agreements that will constitute a good, sound foundation on which to build sustainable development, solidarity and prosperity for European island regions:
